Ariel Gail
Professor Gail S. Goodman teaches psychology at the University of California Davis. The professor is also head of the Center for Public Policy Research. Her name is well-known for her pioneering modern research of children's memory as eyewitnesses and also the application of child victims in court settings. The number of publications by Professor Goodman is extensive, she has received numerous grants and has been the recipient of many awards at both national and internationally. She has worked with a variety of government agencies and institutions around the globe on studies and policy issues pertaining to children who have been victims of the legal system. She also serves as a consultant for the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center. (formerly Multidisciplinary Interview Center) and is a part of Sacramento County Child Protective Services. She is also a Fellow of the Association for Psychological Science and American Psychological Association, (Divisions Experimental Psychology Developmental Psychology Society for Children and Families Policy and Practice American Psychology Law Society Psychology of Women and Traumatic Stress 56). Professor Goodman is a member of the Psychonomics Society Society for Research in Child Development American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children (Founding Member) International Society for the Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect and the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies. She has been president of American Psychological Association's Developmental Psychology Division as well as three divisions of Child and Family Policy and Practice Division American Psychology Law Society and Division Developmental Psychology.
