Anna Silk

Anna Silk, born January 31st, 1974 in Fredericton, New Brunswick Canada, is an actor famous for her character Bo in The Showcase Series Lost Girl. Silk is a Canadian actress who was born in Fredericton New Brunswick. Ilkay Silk was the child of Peter who was an academic, and Peter Silk, a well-known actor as well as a producer, director, playwright, educator and Director of Drama, St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna remembers watching her mother at work and attending the rehearsals for her plays. Silk was a prominent character in numerous commercials when she was a young child. The year 1997 was the time she received a bachelor's degree from St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas produced at least Two early productions: Seven Menus, and The Kitchen. Silk relocated to Toronto, Canada in November of 1999 in order to pursue her acting. Then she moved to Los Angeles California during the following decade. Seth Cooperman was her future partner when she was introduced to him during an acting workshop in Los Angeles. The couple got married in December of 2009 after a civil wedding ceremony. When she converted to Judaism, they renew their vows in a Jewish ceremony on 10 April 2011 in Fredericton. Silk gave birth to the son Samuel Jerome Cooperman in May 2013. Levi Aaron was her second born child on the 13th of May the 13th of May, 2016. Silk's work on television has included her part in Being Erica as Cassidy Holland for which she won a Gemini Awards nod in 2009. The Canadian show Lost Girl cast her as Bo Dennis, the lead character in the succubus. Silk became pregnant during filming of season three's finale, and revealed this to the viewers during Showcase's Season Three Pre-Show Special on 6 January 2013. Silk, who has been doing work on the show since the season's third finale episode premiered on the 6th of January, 2013, announced on Twitter her readiness to return on the 4th of June 2013 when Showcase and Prodigy Pictures began production on the fourth. CNN Cable News Network named Bo, along with Lauren Zoie Palmer as the same-sex couple in Lost Girl to be one of the top television Couples of All Time. E! Magazine declared the couple as one of the Top Television Couples of 2013. Entertainment Television. Silk's growth has brought a large online audience on social media.
